Don't Sell Yourself Short

The #1 regret people have when reflecting on their life achievements is "I should have gone my own way, believed in myself more".

You can only live in the present and plan for the future. Do what you can today to not sell yourself short.

Here is the official Wayne Botha exercise to live tall:

1. Set a goal. (This summer, I will walk 3 days a week for exercise.)

2. Ask yourself "Am I selling myself short here? What else could I do if I thought more of myself? Can I exercise more often, longer duration? Should I ride a bike or join a gym instead of walking? How about planning to run a road race in the Fall?"

3. Review your answer and ponder it for awhile. Then select the goal which is bigger and a bit scary for you.

Don't sell yourself short and go for the small, achievable goals or easy answers to your life questions.

Some people refer to setting "Big Hairy Audacious Goals". It doesn't work for my conservative nature, but I realize that some people do better with the excitement of BHAG.
