I went ice fishing yesterday, with great guys, in New Hampshire. It was the first time in my life that I took part in this hobby, first hand. Good experience and I have the photos to prove it.
How many fish did we come back with? Let's see - started with three dozen shiners and came back with about 2 dozen, which means that about one dozen froze to death while trying to lure some real fish into biting the hook.
End result: Good experience, cold feet, no fish in the frying pan.
